Yearling weights are adjusted to 365 days of age, adjusted based on sex of the calf, breed of the dam, age of the dam, and direct and maternal heterosis. Reported weights must be between 300- 450 days of age.
Individual weights should be recorded on the entire group on the same day. Contemporary group designations are very important in this process. Yearling groups managed differently after weaning should be grouped as such.
